Sigiriya village to Dambulla, then the A9 south through Matale into Kandy.

- Spice gardens and Aluvihara rock temple around Matale.

- In Kandy, the evening puja at the Temple of the Tooth is at about 18:30 — plan to arrive by late afternoon.
